Haven't been on here for some time, and thought I should do a little update.  For those that don't know, Jenny is expecting our third child and should be born about April time.  Need to think of some good names.  Work is busy, I've been working in different areas.  Allot of time working in the Ashford, Folkstone, Dover area.  Although this week I will be working in the Oxford area, nice to see different areas and makes the job a bit more interesting.  I will post some more photo on here soon.  Had a nice day off with the kids on saturaday, Nathaniel had his second birthday.  Mara-Jade seemed more excited about his presents than he did, she has also now started at primary school and is loving it.  We have got her big five birthday in a few weeks and she is having her pink princess party.

How is everbody? Hope all is well, I've been working hard.  Tomorrow is my first day off in three weeks, plenty of work to do.  Looking forward to my holiday in a couple of months.  Also to the next Llamalan, which has been confirmed for August.  I've gone and brought myself an Amiga 500 and loads of games for £35, can't wait till it arrives.  All those hours I used up playing on my Amiga all those years ago, I'll be able to do it all over again. 

Greetings to all, this is a little late.  Hope all are well, I'm good.  My 30th was a good day, its amazing to think 30 years have past, doesn't seem that long. Time certainly goes by quicker with every year, maybe having children makes it seem like it does.

 

I've taken the plunge and upgraded my OS to the new Vista.  My first thoughts of it are good, the look of it is great, much better that XP. But then every OS microsoft releases is better looking, than previous versions.  Drivers are a little problem, but that is as expected.  I must say, I like the new features, like the sidebar, and aero desktop.  I think the real test for me will be when it comes to playing games, maybe a more memory will be needed.

Just put some photos from our recent Finland holiday on the site, plenty of snowy pictures.  Went to the Science and Natural History Museums last Sunday, was a very good day out.  Got very tired though, all that walking about.  The kids enjoyed themselves though, which is was the main objective of the day.  Will take a trip to the Tower of London next month.

The second rally of the season has ended today with Marcus Gronholm getting his first win of the year in the very snowy Sweden.  Next week in the first ever rally Norway, and the second winter rally.

Werder have had their second defeat in a week, and are now six points behind the new leaders Schalke, I hope its just a short term loosing streak. This week they face Ajax Amsterdam in the UEFA Cup.

Well we are here in the beautiful snow in Finland, its great.  Went to see my first Ice Hockey game last night, was the local derby between Jockerit and HIJK.  Home team Jockerit lost 4-1, was fun to watch.  The first rally of the season is well under way, Sebastian Loeb is currently winning in his new Citroen C4.  Mara-Jade and Nathaniel are loving the snow over here, we were worried there wasn't going to be any as they haven't really had any all winter.  Its normally starts falling in October/November time.  Lucky for us it started coming down on Thursday, has been snowing all morning today since the early hours, will be building a snowman later and having a big snawball fight.

Has everyone done all their christmas shopping? I know we haven't, got most though.  Very easy to go over top, the kids have got loads of prezzies .  Always have trouble thinking what to get some people, I'm sure we'll find something for everyone.  Booked up to go see Dave in Helsinki next month.  Play with some proper snow, can't wait.  Although there isn't any snow over there at the moment, just lots of rain, same as here.

 

My little car is a little poorly at the moment, it has a strange fault.  Starts and runs fine untill it reachs normal running temperature then just cuts out.  Just can't fined the problem causing it, have a feeling its going to be something like a sensor or the ecu. Everthing else seems to be fine, its as if the engine is just being swithed off, like when you take the key out.

 

I've added some photos to my albums and changed a few things around my space.  Have added next years calender for the WRC, now that this years has finished.  Sebastian Loeb won the title without even racing in the last three events.  Ford won the manufactures title, the first time they have done so in 27 years.

She has been so excited about her birthday all week and now it is here, she got a fairy dress from one of her Aunt's and has been wearing it all day.  Sunday she's having a party, very excited about that.  She can't wait to have all her friends round.

 

Also Congratulations to my good friends Tim & Jenna, who's engagement party we went to at the Weekend.  It was a very good evening.

Yesterday was little bros wedding and what a great day it was.  The weather was brilliant, Caroline looked stunning.  They both did very well, Dave's speech was brilliant.

How fast does time fly.  A year already, tomorrow is Nathaniel's first birthday.  He's almost walking now, he can do a few steps without help.  Had a BBQ for his and Jenny's birthdays, only a month to go and it'll be Mara's 4th.  Had a Great time in Prague a couple of weekend's ago, we went there for Richard's stag weekend.  Will take Jenny there next year, is a very nice city to visit.

For the first time in Werder Bremens history they have one the 'Liga-Pokal' (League Cup), Ivan Klasnic scored both the goals against Bayern Munich, to give the Green-Whites a 2-0 win.  A great start to the new season.

 

Went to my cousin Christopher's wedding yesterday, was a good night.  Good to see loads of the family, shall be seeing alot of them again in a months time at my brothers wedding.  Congratulations to Chris and Tina.

I haven't updated in a long time thought I should.  I've added lots of new photos, including some from our recent holiday in Finland.  Had a great time, the kids really enjoyed their time to.

 

The World Cup has been and gone and the new football seasons start soon or have started as is the case with Scotland.  Werder's first game is on the 1st August, the league cup semi-final.  Hopefully they should do well, they have lost their last three friendly games, hope thats not a sign of theing sto come.  The new kit looks good, should be getting one soon.

Well another month has flown by, time just sseems to move to quickly these days.  Nathaniel is still big, but seems to be slowing down now.  Got a busy month this June.  This weekend is my little bros birthday, and Llamalan 7.  Which is a great LAN party organised by a good friend of mine, I go earlly to help him set up and run cables.  Then the weekend after that I'm taking the family to Finland for two weeks, shoudl be a good well earned rest.  Once I get back I will have to sort out my brothers stag weekend.

 

The world cup is fast approching and everyone is getting behind the England team.  Its a shame Bremen's Weser staduim isn't getting used, personally I think its one of the better looking stadiums. Here is a photo of it from above, as you can see it is a very nice stadium, and a fair size too about 40,000 seats.  Bremen finished the season with an excellent result, the last game of the season was against Hamburg.  The outcome of which determined who finished secand and got automatic qualification into next years champions league. Bremen won 2-1 in Hamburg to secure to spot.  They've sign two new players so far, Pierre Wome (Cameroon) from Inter Milan and Diego (Brazil) from Porto.  Only one player is leaving, Nelson Valdez is going to Borussia Dortmond.

Not much happening today, just thought I'd update my space as I haven't since the start of March.  Got some more photos of the wee ones to put in the photo album.  Jenny has found her dad, well her step brother found her via a family history website I am a member of.   She hasn't spoken to him in 14 years, she's been quite excited about it all.  Going to book a holiday to Finland in the next week or so, first holiday of the year.  Wanted to go there earlier in teh year but atleast we're going  now.  Been busy looking at weekends away for my little brothers stag doo. Should be a good weekend.

I keep forgetting to update my space so im doing it now.  Loads more photos of Mara-Jade and Nathaniel uploaded.  All is well here, the kids are doing great.  Nathaniel going very nicely about 20lb now.

 

Went to my first professional football game yesterday with my brother Richard.  Was a good day out, saw Crystal Palace vs Leeds United.  Unfortunatly Crystal Palace lost the game 2-1, Richard was a little upset by that.  They played very well.

 

Werder are doing well, second in the league.  They are playing Juventus in Turin tomorrow.  Hoping its on TV, They beat them 3-2 at home two weeks ago.  If they can hold them to a draw or win then they can go into the next round.  I won't be easy though, they are a very good side.

Well I hope everyone had a good new year.  Got new years resolutions, that wont be fulfilled .  I don't ever set myself resolutions, so many people make them then give up after a few weeks.  Makes you wonder whats the point.  I had a good night at a friends party.  Back to work on Saturday, feels strange.  Been off since the 20th, got to used to lounging around and don't want to go to work now.  Took my brother Dave to the airport on the 30th to see him off, starting his new life in Finland.  Already spoken to him, he had a great new years party.  He's been sorting out bank stuff and job applications the last day or so.  Everything is going well, which is good.  Nathaniel's teeth have been giving him a hard time, they all seem to be coming through together.  He certainly knows how to dribble, I don't remember Mara-Jade dribbling so much.  Got some photots to add to the photo albums, will do them in the next couple of days.  Probably later today, I must get round to putting a musci track or video in the player. I think i'll have a look for a video today. Anyone know where to get videos for it?

Werder finished the year on a good note.  They draw with Hamburg 1-1, and thrashed Hannover in the cup 4-1.  Which puts them into the quarter finals.

Werder have had a great week, they thrashed Panathinaikos 5-1 last Wednesday.  Which put then through to the next round of the Champions League, thats two years in a row. The draw is tomorrow, I'm hoping they will get an English team so I can go see them.  On Saturday they beat 1.F.C Koln 4-1 , which keeps them in 3rd place behind Hamburg.  Who they play against this weekend.  After that its the DFB cup game against Hannover on the 21st.  Which is the last game of the year.  They don't play untill the end of January, which is the end of their winter break.

 

Nathaniel Hsd his 2nd lot of jabs this week, doesn't seem to have bothered him to much.  Has kept us awake allot at night lately though.  Still it will soon be christmas.  I've only goet a couple of work days left, which is great.  My brother David flys off to Finland on the 30th.  Which will be sad, don't really see him enough as it is.  At least we have the internet to keep in touch.  Gonna fly out an see him in the new year, maybe for his birthday in January.

Hello everyone, not updated in a few weeks now, tut tut.  Been busy and forgot.  Nathaniel is growing well, he had a bad cold last week and mild broncitus (not sure how to spell that) but he fought it off, which is great.  Got to start buying crimbo prezzies as I haven't done it yet.

 

Werder haven't done too great recently, they beat Wolfsburg on the 19th 6-1 which was great.  But then lost to Barcelona 3-1 in the Champions League and followed with another defeat at the feet of Schalke 2-1 on Saturday.  Hopefully they can piack things up against Duisburg this Saturday.

 

Ford have unveiled their latest Focus WRC car ready for the 2006 season, it does look quite stunning.  Much better than the last focus, but will it perfom as well as the 2005 car did.  Citroen have started developing the C4 ready for the 2007 season, they have pulled out of the next season.  Double champion Sebastien Loeb will be driving for a privateer team next year, he will be continuing to drive in a Xsara.  On a sad note, Richard Burns died last weekend.  The 2001 WRC champion had battled a brain tumor for two years.  He was a great driver, and only Englishman to have ever lifted the WRC title.
